The Royal Society for the Blind
Imagine being unable to read your personal correspondence, food labels in your pantry, or directions on medications. These are just some of the issues faced daily by people who are vision impaired.
The Ross Divett Foundation has generously funded the purchase of a Sapphire Magnifier for the Royal Society for the Blind of SA Inc. (RSB). This small, lightweight and portable unit enables people who are vision impaired to read magnified print on rounded or flat surfaces.
The RSB will be using this Sapphire Magnifier for demonstrations to clients and for trials in their homes and workplaces. This enables our clients to test the Magnifier and ensure it meets their personal needs, prior to outlaying funds to purchase their own.
The Royal Society for the Blind would like to sincerely thank The Ross Divett Foundation for providing freedom and independence to South Australians who are vision impaired.
