Ross Divett

Ross Divett was a founding member and Deputy CEO of Centrelink, an Australian Government Statutory Agency assisting people to become self-sufficient and supporting those in need.

Ross was instrumental in bringing social responsibility into the foreground. Ross died prematurely from Mesothelioma, an asbestos related cancer on 1 May 2001.

Centrelink staff created the Ross Divett Foundation in memory of Ross' vision and strong belief in community strength. The Foundation is an initiative to continue Ross' good will by supporting a broad range of organisations, by distributing funds for charitable and community purposes.
