Ross Divett was a founding member and Deputy CEO of Centrelink, an Australian Government Statutory Agency assisting people to become self-sufficient and supporting those in need.
Ross was instrumental in bringing social responsibility into the foreground. Ross died prematurely from Mesothelioma, an asbestos related cancer on 1 May 2001. |
Centrelink staff created the Ross Divett Foundation in memory of Ross' vision and strong belief in community strength. The Foundation is an initiative to continue Ross' good will by supporting a broad range of organisations, by distributing funds for charitable and community purposes.
